Great Gilroy Garlic Festival Annual Recipe Contest and Cook-Off - Starting in December of each year, the Gilroy Garlic Festival puts out a call across the United States and Canada for the best original garlic recipes. Finalists come to Gilroy in California each July to prepare their recipes at the festival. Grand prize winner is awarded $1,000 plus a crown of garlic. Other winners also win cash prizes. Submit your recipe online or by mail from December to May 1st (check website for exact dates of entry each year).
Kaiser Bakeware Recipe Contest - Submit your baked goods recipe that can be baked in a Kaiser bakeware pan, one recipe per month is chosen as the winner. Each monthly recipe winner chosen wins a choice of any one Kaiser Bakeware item from the website. Recipe categories are: bread, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, muffins, icings, other desserts, other.
National Beef Cook-off - Submit your original beef recipe in this annual contest for a chance to win the $50,000 "Best of Beef" Grand Prize! Finalists prepare their recipe at a National cook-off to compete for cash and prizes. Entries normally accepted January through March 31st.
National Chicken Cooking Contest - Submit your original chicken recipe in this annual contest for a chance to win $100,000. A finalist is selected from each U.S. state and District of Columbia to compete in a National Cookoff for cash prizes from $1,000 all the way up to $100,000 to the grand prize winner. Check the site for dates they are accepting entries each year. Entries normally accepted through mid-October.
